Removing USB connection (safe removal of hardware) (Mac)

  1. Make sure that this unit is not being accessed.
  2. Drag and drop the icon of this unit to the "Trash" icon. Alternatively, click the Eject icon on the drive of this unit on the Finder window.
  3. Disconnect the USB cable from this unit and the computer.

Note

  • The icon and message displayed may vary, depending on the version of operating system.
  • This unit turns off when the USB cable is disconnected from the computer.
