Notes on splash-proof feature
-
The system has a splash-proof feature equivalent to the IPX2 Standard. The system is protected against a certain amount of rain, snow, or splash, but is not completely water resistant. Submerging the system in water, or leaving the system in a humid bathroom, for example, may cause a malfunction of the system.
-
Take the following precautions when you use the system:
-
Do not splash a lot of water on it.
-
Do not submerge it in water.
-
If the system is exposed to a lot of water, pick it up at once and wipe the water off carefully with a soft dry cloth.
-
The system drains water that seeps into gaps in the case. If water is splashed on the system, place it on a soft dry cloth for a while to help drain water.
-
Do not leave the system covered or wet with salt water. Doing so will cause corrosion, discoloring, and deterioration of the splash-proof feature.
-
If the system has been exposed to a strong mechanical shock, such as being dropped on the floor, the splash-proof feature is not guaranteed.
-
Please note that malfunctions caused by misuse accompanied by water exposure are not covered under warranty.
