About the indicators

CHARGE indicator (orange)

Turns off (while the speaker is turned off)
Charging of the speaker is completed.
Lights up (orange) (while the speaker is turned off)
The speaker is charging.
Flashes slowly (orange) (while the speaker is turned on)
The built-in battery is running low and needs to be charged. In this state, the speaker cannot supply power to other devices.
Flashes three times (orange) and turns off
If the CHARGE indicator flashes three times in orange and goes off when you turn on the speaker, the battery is empty and needs to be charged. 

Note

  • In an extremely cold or hot environment, charging may end prematurely or may not be possible. This is not malfunction.

(power) indicator

Turns off
The speaker is turned off.
Lights up (green)
The speaker is turned on.
Lights up (orange)
The speaker is in BLUETOOTH standby mode.
Flashes once (green)
Each time you press the VOL (volume) -/+ button, the indicator flashes once.
Flashes three times (green)
The volume is set at the lowest or highest level.

(BLUETOOTH) PAIRING indicator

Lights up (white)
The speaker is connected to a BLUETOOTH device.
Flashes quickly (white)
The speaker is pairing with a BLUETOOTH device.
Flashes (white)
The speaker is searching for a BLUETOOTH device to connect.

SOUND indicator

Turns off
You can enjoy ClearAudio+ mode (Sony-recommended sound quality). This mode is set as the default setting.
Lights up (white)
You can enjoy the surround effect (High).
