Using the Timeshift feature
This function is available only in limited regions/countries/TV models.
To use this function, you may need to update the TV's software.
You can use the [Timeshift] feature to pause a broadcast content while watching them. You can watch the broadcast content from the paused scene later.
Connect and register a USB HDD device to your TV to enjoy this feature. See Registering a USB HDD device .
- While a broadcast content is being played back, press the MENU button on the remote control. Select [Timeshift start] from the menu displayed at the bottom of the screen. Content playback is paused.
To re-start the playback
- Press the
(Play) button on the remote control, or follow the on-screen instruction. The playback will re-start in a paused state.
Note
- [Timeshift] does not work immediately. Wait for a few seconds.
- [Timeshift] is not supported during recording other content.
Hint
- You can stop [Timeshift] by pressing
(BACK) button on the remote control or by launching other applications. - You can also start [Timeshift] by pressing
(Pause) button on the remote control while a broadcast content is being played back.
