You can press the SUBTITLE/AD (Subtitle/Closed Caption/Audio Description) button on the remote control to enable subtitles and verbal description of the visual content.

Subtitles for TV broadcasts and apps

Two types of subtitles may be available depending on the TV programme.

Press (Quick Settings) button on the remote control, then select [Settings] — [Accessibility] — [Subtitle settings] — [Broadcast] — [Subtitle] then select the preferred type of subtitle.

• [Basic]

  These subtitles only display the audio portion of the content.

• [For hard of hearing]

  These subtitles display the audio portion and non-speech elements of the content. Your TV will display [For hard of hearing] subtitles whenever they are available.

Note

• Subtitles may not be available for content in TV broadcasts and apps.
• Some features may not be supported depending on your model/region/country.
