Protecting transferred files

Set whether to automatically protect still images or movies when transferring them to an FTP server.

This function can be used when the camera’s system software (firmware) is Ver.2.00 or later.

  1. MENU → (Network) → [FTP Transfer] → [FTP Transfer Func.] → [Protect Image in FTP transfer].

Menu item details

On:
Automatically protects still images or movies stored on the camera when executing an FTP transfer.
Off:
Does not automatically protect still images or movies stored on the camera when executing an FTP transfer.
