Activating each licensed function

To activate each licensed function, you need to load the license file saved on a memory card to the camera.

Note

  • Some models have restrictions on loading license files that include license packages. Check below for details.
    • ILCE-1M2: Unless you update the camera’s system software (firmware) version to 3.00 or later, the camera cannot load license files that contain more than 50 license packages.
    • ILCE-6700: The camera cannot load license files that contain more than 50 license packages. Limit the number of license packages included in the file to 50 or less.
