Disconnecting the USB cable
Follow the procedures below when disconnecting the USB cable to prevent damage to data.

- Press the
button if the screen of your　Walkman is off. - If your Walkman is connected to a computer as a media device (MTP), you do not need to follow the procedures below. Just disconnect the USB cable.
- Tap [Turn off USB storage] displayed on the screen of your Walkman.
If this message is not displayed on the screen, swipe the status bar, and then tap [Turn off USB storage] on the notification panel.
