Playing an HDMI™ Device

  1. Turn off the HDMI device.
  2. Turn down the volume on the unit.
  3. Connect the HDMI device to the HDMI terminal on the unit.
  4. Press HOME, then touch [HDMI].
  5. Turn on the HDMI device.
    Playback starts.

Note

  • BLUETOOTH audio is not available when HDMI device is played.
  • Do not disconnect the device during playback.
  • To connect an Apple device via the HDMI cable, Lightning Digital AV Adapter or USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter is required.
  • To charge a device when connecting the HDMI cable, connect to the USB port using a multiport adaptor.
  • The supplied remote commander works for some of the operations on the unit. (XAV-AX5600(UC))
  • For HDMI connection, the supplied remote commander only works for this unit. (XAV-AX5600(UC))
  • The image may show up differently on the unit's display compared to the one on the display of the connected HDMI device.
  • This unit is compatible with 480p, 576p, and 720p.
