Magnifying the image to obtain better manual focus (Focus Magnifier)
Magnify the image you are currently recording whether the object is in focus.
- Press the FOCUS MAGNIFIER button, and then touch the part you want to magnify.
- The
marks appear on the top/bottom/right/left sides of the center of the magnified part.

- Touch one of the marks to move the image in the direction you want.
Hint

Each time you press the FOCUS MAGNIFIER button, the magnification scaling changes as follows:
Movies: between ×1 → ×2 → ×4 → Off
Photos: between ×1 → ×6.3 → ×12.6 → Off
Note
- Even though the image displayed on this product has been magnified, the recorded image is not magnified.
- When the focus is set to manual, you can adjust the focus when displaying a magnified image on the LCD monitor.
