Playing back using digital connection

You can play back sound from the linear PCM recorder with an externally connected device.

When connecting the linear PCM recorder to the optical digital audio input jack of an external device, use an optical digital cable (not supplied).

  1. Connect the optical digital input terminal of the external device () to the LINE OUT(OPT) jack () using an optical digital cable (not supplied) () when the linear PCM recorder is in the stop mode.

  2. Set the connected device to the playback mode for external analog input.
  3. Press the button on the linear PCM recorder to start playback.

Note

  • The linear PCM recorder can output LPCM 44.1/48.0/88.2/96.0/176.4/192.0 kHz, 16/24 bit digital signals. Playback may not be possible depending on the connected device or environments.
