Linear PCM recorder operations

If you have problems

Noise

• Noise is heard.
• Noise occurs during recording.

General operations

• The linear PCM recorder does not operate.
• The ACCESS indicator, peak level lamps, or REC / PAUSE indicators do not light/flash.

Recording

• Cannot start recording.
• Digital Synchronized Recording cannot be performed.
• Cannot record files up to the maximum recording time.
• The sound picked up is distorted.

Playback

• Cannot play back a file.
• No sound comes from the built-in speaker.
• Sound comes from the built-in speaker even when headphones are plugged in.
• Playback speed is too fast or too slow.

Editing

• Cannot erase a file.
• Cannot divide a file.
• Cannot move a file.

Clock

• “--y--m--d --:--” is displayed as the recorded date.

Display

• There are fewer menu items in the OPTION menu.
• The “Please wait” display does not disappear.

Files

• A character in a folder or file name is unreadable.
• The memory card is not recognized.

Computer

• The linear PCM recorder is not recognized by your computer. A folder/file cannot be transferred from your computer.
• The file transferred from your computer is not displayed or cannot be played back.
