Disconnecting the linear PCM recorder from your computer
Follow the instructions below to disconnect the linear PCM recorder from your computer. Failure to do so may result in data files on the linear PCM recorder becoming damaged or unplayable.
- Make sure that the ACCESS indicator is not lit.
- Perform the following operations on your computer.

On a Windows computer: Click the following icon in the Windows taskbar at the bottom right of the desktop.
Next, click “Eject PCMRECORDER.” The icon and menu displayed may be different on different operating systems. The icon may not be displayed in the taskbar depending on your computer settings.

On a Mac: Click the removal icon next to the “PCMRECORDER” in the Finder sidebar.

- Disconnect the USB cable from the USB port of the computer.
