Reducing noise when recording (Recording Filter)
You can record with less noise in the recorded sound by using the “Recording Filter” function.
- Select BACK/HOME - “ Settings” - “Recording Settings” - “Recording Filter,” and then press .
- Press or to select “NCF(Noise Cut)” or “LCF(Low Cut),” and then press .
- Press and hold BACK/HOME to return to the HOME menu.
Press STOP to return to the window displayed before you entered the HOME menu.
Descriptions of menu items
You can select one of the menu items available.
OFF:
Cancels the recording filter function.
NCF(Noise Cut):
In addition to low frequency sounds, the IC recorder cuts the noise of high frequency sounds outside the normal audio range.
(Initial setting)
LCF(Low Cut):
The IC recorder cuts low frequency noise such as projector machine sound or roaring noise from the wind, etc.
Note
- When the “Ext. Input Setting” menu is set to “Audio IN” or when the IC recorder is recording an FM radio broadcast (ICD-UX543F/UX544F only), the recording filter function does not work.
- If you set “Recording Filter” when “Scene Select” is set to other than “OFF,” the “Scene Select” setting will be canceled.
Hint
- Select “OFF” in step 2 to cancel the recording filter function (“OFF” is the initial setting).
