The charging indicator is not displayed or disappears in the middle of charging.
- The USB connector of the IC recorder is not connected properly.
- While playing back files using the built-in speaker or listening to the FM radio (ICD-UX543F/UX544F only), you cannot charge the battery.

The rechargeable battery performance has deteriorated.
If you do not intend to use the IC recorder for a long period of time, you may not be able to enjoy the same performance as the original battery performance. If you charge and discharge the battery power repeatedly, the battery may recover its ability to take and hold a charge.
If the rechargeable battery does not recover its ability, consult your nearest Sony dealer.
