The audio is not played back in the desired audio format.

• Check the audio format of the Blu-ray Disc or DVD.

• Check the package, etc., to see that audio has been recorded in the desired audio format.

• Select the desired audio format on the audio setting menu on the main menu of the disc before you start playback of the disc.

• Check the audio output settings of the device connected to the processor.
  If multi-channel output is set to be down-mixed to a 2-channel signal, change the setting so that multi-channel audio is output in a multi-channel. [Details]

• Set [TV+HP Audio OUT:] to [Off] on the menu of the processor.
  If it is set to [On], the audio output from the device connected to the processor is influenced by the TV specifications. If the TV has stereo speakers, the audio output from the connected device becomes stereo (2-channel), the same as that of the TV, even if you are playing multi-channel programs.

• The device is connected to the processor with an optical digital cable, but the audio format is transmitted by an HDMI connection only.
  Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio, and Linear PCM 5.1ch/7.1ch can be transmitted by an HDMI connection only.
