- Tap the icon of PCS Manager to start PCS Manager.

- Select the device name of PCS, then tap [Select] or

"MyPCS" appears as the device name by default.
- Sign in to PCS.
A password for PCS is not set by default.

If the password of PCS has not been set
The screen prompting you to enter the password appears. Tap [OK] to complete sign-in.
Then, see Password settings and set the password.

If the password for PCS has been set and remembered by the smartphone/tablet
Sign-in is complete.

If the password for PCS has been set, but not remembered
Enter the password to sign in. Check [Remember Password], then the next time you can sign in without entering the password.
iOS

If the password of PCS has not been set
Tap [Remember Password] to go to the password setting screen.

Tap [Later] to complete sign-in without setting the password.

If the password of PCS has been set
Sign-in is complete.
The List screen appears when sign-in is complete.

Hint
- If [Read-Only Access] appears when you sign in, see The warning message [Read-Only Access] appears.
- If the device name of PCS does not appear, see No device names are displayed.
- When PCS is connected to the Internet via a wireless LAN router, it is checked after sign-in whether a new system software exists on the Sony website. If new system software is found, a message appears. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the software.
- After sign-in, a message may appear recommending you to back up data stored in PCS. Follow the on-screen instructions to back up data.
- After sign-in is complete, the Date view is displayed. A guide screen for copy to PCS may be displayed on Android devices before the Date view is displayed.
