Connecting an Android device via wireless LAN
Install "PWS Manager" before setting the following.
- Turn on this unit.
- Enable the Wi-Fi function on the settings screen of your Android device..
- Open the Wi-Fi networks screen from the settings screen of your Android device.
- Tap [WG-C10-xxxxxx].
This unit is connected to your Android device via the wireless LAN.
"xxxxxx" stands for the last 6 digits of the MAC address. For details on the Mac address, see "10. MAC address" in "Parts and controls."
- Check whether the connection is established or not.
When [Connected] is displayed under the selected SSID and
is displayed at the top of the screen, the connection has been established.
Note
- Depending on the usage environment, it may take time to connect the unit and Android device.
- This operation will disconnect the Android device from the Internet. To connect to the Internet again, see Configuring the Internet connection (Android device).
Hint
- The method of setting is different, depending on your Android device. For details, refer to the instruction manual of your Android device.
- A maximum of 8 users can be connected at the same time.
