Charging USB devices, such as smartphones
You can charge your smartphone via a USB connection to the speaker.
- Connect a USB device such as a smartphone to the USB A port (
A) with a commercially-available USB cable or the USB cable supplied with your USB device.
Charging of the USB device will start automatically.
Hint
- If the speaker is connected to an AC outlet, the USB device will be charged, even if the speaker is turned off.
- An iPhone/iPad/iPod or Walkman can be charged even while playing back music via the USB A port (A).
Note
- Do not use a smartphone charging dock; it may prevent charging.
- Charging of all USB devices cannot be guaranteed.
- In an extremely hot environment, charging of the connected USB device will stop.
- If the speaker is switched to another mode by tapping one of the function buttons while charging, charging may be stopped. In this case, disconnect the USB cable from the speaker and connect it again. Charging will resume.
