Registering a USB HDD device (USB HDD recording models only)

USB HDD recording models have [Recording device setup] in [Settings].
Connect and register a USB HDD device to your TV to record digital broadcasts. If your TV has two or more USB ports, connect the USB HDD device to the port labelled “HDD REC.”

- This function is only available on some models in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

- USB cable (not supplied)
- Connect a USB HDD device to the USB port labelled “HDD REC” on your TV.
- Turn the USB HDD device on.
- Press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Recording device setup] — [HDD registration].
- Follow the on-screen instructions to register the USB HDD device.
