Timer recording (USB HDD recording models only)

Select within the text to jump to the related setting screen.

USB HDD recording models have [Recording device setup] in [Settings].

Note

This function is only available for certain models in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Press the DISCOVER button, then select the programme guide in the broadcast category.
Select the desired programme in the programme guide, then select [Timer REC].
Select [Set Timer As an Event] or [Set timer].

To manually set the timer by specifying date, time and channel

Press the DISCOVER button, then select the programme guide in the broadcast category.
Move the focus to the leftmost item, then move left again to open the menu.
Select [Timer list] — [Manual Timer REC].
Configure the timer setting.
Select [Set timer].

To check, modify or delete timer settings

Checking, modifying, or deleting timer settings is performed in [Timer list].

Press the DISCOVER button, then select the programme guide in the broadcast category.
Move the focus to the leftmost item, then move left again to open the menu.
Select [Timer list], then change the settings.

Hint

Up to 32 timer settings can be created.
If the recording fails, the reason will be listed in [Recording Error List]. Press the HOME button, then select [Programme Guide] — [Recorded Title List] — [Recording Error List].
In the programme guide, you can move the focus to the desired programme and press the REC button to set the timer recording for the programme.

Note

Timer recording will not work if the AC power cord (mains lead) is unplugged.
