Viewing pictures in 8K resolution (8K models only)

You can connect a digital still camera/camcorder that supports HDMI 8K output to HDMI 輸入 4 of the TV to display high resolution photos stored on the camera. You can also display high resolution photos stored in connected USB devices or your home network. A picture with a 8K or higher resolution can be displayed in 8K resolution (7680×4320) (8K models only).
For models that support 8K, [Enhanced format (8K)] is available in [Settings] — [Channels & Inputs] — [External inputs] — [HDMI signal format].

The availability of this function depends on your region/country.

To view pictures stored on a USB device or network device in 8K resolution

  1. Connect the USB device or network device to the TV.
  2. Press the 主選單 button, select Apps from the Home menu, then select [Media Player].
    If the supplied remote control has an 應用程式 button, you can press the 應用程式 button.
  3. Select the USB device name or network device name.
  4. Select the folder, and then select the file to play.

To view pictures stored on a digital still camera/camcorder

  1. Connect a digital still camera or camcorder that supports HDMI output to the HDMI 輸入 4 jack (socket) of the TV, using an HDMI cable.
  2. Press the 輸入選擇 button repeatedly to select the connected device.
  3. Set the connected device to 8K output.
  4. Start playback on the connected device.

To view pictures in 8K resolution

You can set the HDMI signal format to [Enhanced format (8K)] to view pictures in 8K resolution.

Note

  • A 3D picture cannot be displayed.
  • If you change the picture by pressing the (Left) / (Right) buttons, it may take a moment for the picture to be displayed.
