Connecting terminal

The types and shapes of connectors available vary depending on your TV.
For the location of the connectors, refer to the Setup Guide (printed manual).

Note

  • Connecting a large USB device may interfere with other connected devices beside it. In such a case, connect it to the other USB input.

This terminal is for service use only.

視訊輸入
Connects to VCR/Video game equipment/DVD player/Camcorder.
For a composite connection, use an Analogue Extension Cable (not supplied).

(Headphone)
Connects to the headphone jack to listen to sound from the TV. Supports 3-pole stereo mini jack only.

Note

  • You cannot output sound from both the headphone and the TV speakers at the same time.

HDMI 輸入
Connects to the HDMI device. The HDMI interface can transfer the digital video and audio on a single cable. To enjoy high quality 4K contents, connect a Premium High Speed HDMI Cable(s) and set the [HDMI signal format] to [Enhanced format].

HDMI 輸入 (8K, 4K 120 Hz)
If you use an HDMI device that supports video output in 8K or 4K 100/120 Hz, connect the Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable, and set the [HDMI signal format] of the port to [Enhanced format (8K)].
[Enhanced format (8K)] is available only for HDMI 輸入 ports of models that support 8K.

Note

  • 4K 100 Hz support depends on your country/region.

HDMI 輸入 (eARC/ARC) or HDMI 輸入 (ARC)
To connect an audio system that supports eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) or ARC (Audio Return Channel), connect to the HDMI port labelledeARC/ARCor “ARC on the TV. It is a feature that sends audio to an audio system that supports eARC/ARC through an HDMI cable. If the audio system does not support eARC/ARC, you need to connect with 光纖數位聲音輸出.

Connects to DVI - HDMI Adapter/HDMI device.
If the device has a DVI jack, connect it to HDMI 輸入 input supported DVI through a DVI - HDMI adapter interface (not supplied), and connect the device's audio out jack to HDMI 聲音輸入.

HDMI 聲音輸入
Connects to the DVI - HDMI Adapter/HDMI device.
If the device has a DVI jack, connect it to HDMI 輸入 input supported DVI through a DVI - HDMI adapter interface (not supplied), and connect the device’s audio out jack to HDMI 聲音輸入.

光纖數位聲音輸出
Connects to an audio system with optical audio input.
When connecting an audio system not compatible with ARC/eARC using an HDMI cable, you need to connect an optical audio cable to the 光纖數位聲音輸出 to output digital sound.

Connects to Cable/Antenna/External Box.

Note

  • When connecting the cable to the Cable/Antenna input, finger tighten only, over tightening the connection can damage the TV.

Connect to a Router.
Connect to the Internet using a LAN cable.

色差輸入
Connects to VCR/Video game equipment/DVD Player/Camcorder.
Use the component jacks as video jacks if your device only has video output jacks.
When connecting mono equipment, connect to the 左 (單聲道) audio jack.

中置揚聲器輸入
To use your TV speakers as the centre speaker, connect the output of your AV receiver to the 中置揚聲器輸入 on your TV.
To use your TV speakers as the centre speaker, press the 主選單 button on the remote control, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Audio output] — [Speakers] — [Audio system].

Note

  • Before connecting cables, disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead) of both the TV and AV receiver.
  • If you do not use the 中置揚聲器輸入 terminal , change the following setting to prevent noise from the speakers.
    Press the 主選單 button on the remote control, and disable [TV centre speaker mode] in [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Audio output].
