How the LEDs light up

You can check the status of the TV by looking at how the LEDs light up.
The location of the LEDs varies by model.

  1. Voice function LED (On the center right at the bottom of the TV. Only TVs with a built-in MIC.*)
  2. Operational response LED (In the center at the bottom of the TV.)

* The built-in MIC may not be available depending on your region/model/language.

Voice function LED

Turns “on” or “blinks” when “Hey Google” is detected and the TV is communicating with the server. The lighting pattern of this LED depends on the server communication status.

Note

  • You can use the built-in MIC on the TV when the Built-in MIC switch is on. For the location of the Built-in MIC Switch, refer to the Reference Guide/Setup Guide supplied with the TV.
  • After you press the Google Assistant/MIC button on the remote control and finish activating the built-in MIC on the TV, the voice function LED turns on in amber when the built-in MIC on the TV is off (when on, the Operational response LED turns on in amber).

Operational response LED

Turns “on” or “blinks” in white when the TV is turning on, when receiving signals from the remote control, or when updating the software using a USB storage device.
When ["OK Google" detection] is enabled, it turns “on” in amber. (only TVs with a built-in MIC*)

When the Built-in MIC switch is on, it turns “on” in amber. (only TVs with a built-in MIC*)
* The built-in MIC may not be available depending on your region/model/language.
