You cannot operate your Walkman by the Remote Commander.
- Make sure that the Remote Commander (supplied) is turned on.
- Make sure that your Walkman is turned on.
- Reset the Remote Commander and your Walkman by following the procedures below.
- Press the and buttons of the Remote Commander at the same time and hold for about 10 seconds.
- Press the RESET button of your Walkman with a pen or a paper clip, etc.
- Turn on the Remote Commander and your Walkman.
- Pair the Remote Commander and your Walkman again by following the procedures below.
- Press the and buttons of the Remote Commander at the same time and hold for about 10 seconds.
- Turn on the Remote Commander.
The lamp of the Remote Commander blinks in red and blue alternately.
- Make sure that your Walkman is turned on and the Bluetooth function is turned off, and press and hold the button of the Walkman for about 7 seconds.
When pairing is successfully completed, the lamp of the Remote Commander blinks in blue.
- You cannot use the Remote Commander when it is wet. Dry the Remote Commander using a dry cloth.
- A device using the 2.4 GHz frequency, such as a wireless LAN device, Bluetooth audio device, or microwave oven, may disturb the Bluetooth connection. Use your Walkman and the connected Remote Commander away from these devices.
- The Bluetooth connection between your Walkman and the Remote Commander may be obstructed by, for example, metal, walls, or people. Remove any obstructions or change the location to enable proper communications.
- Replace the battery of the Remote Commander. See “Replacing the battery of the Remote Commander” for details.
