Configuring settings in the context menu

Tap and hold a list item to display the context menu, where you can perform various operations for that item. The context menu can be displayed when selecting an item in a list screen, the Play Queue screen, the Playlists screen or the “Full Browser” display (tablet only).

For example, if you display the context menu by tapping and holding an artist name in a list screen, you can perform various operations for all tracks by that artist, such as playing all tracks, adding a track to the current Play Queue, or adding tracks to a desired playlist.

  1. Tap and hold a desired item in the list display of your smartphone/tablet.
    The context menu is displayed.
  2. Tap the desired menu item.

Descriptions of context menu items

You can configure the menu items below:

Start Playing:
Plays the queued tracks (Play Queue). If you select [Start Playing] from the context menu of the [All Genres], [All Artists], [All Albums] or [All Tracks], you can play all tracks included in the selected item. You can also play all tracks included in a selected playlist.
Go to album:
You can go directly from the selected track or file to the album to which the track or file belongs.
Favorite:
Sets the selected track as a favorite or unfavorite.
  • Favorite : Adds a selected track to “Favorites.”
  • Unfavorite : Sets the selected track to “Unfavorite.” The selected track is removed from the Play Queue.
  • None : Sets the selected track to “None.”
Queue next:
Plays the selected item next.
Queue last:
Plays the selected item last (adds the selected item to the end of the Play Queue.)
Add to playlist:
Adds the selected item to a playlist.
If manually-created playlists exist, these playlists are displayed.
If no manually-created playlists exist, [Create new playlist] can also be selected to add the selected track to a new playlist.
Edit music info:
Edit music information such as the album art, track name, artist name, album name, track number, year of release and genre name of the selected track, album or tracks in a folder. You can also select a genre name from the list of genre names registered in the database. This menu item is only available from the list of tracks or albums.
Delete:
You can delete the track, album, or folder. If you delete a track, album, or folder, playback will be stopped.
Get music info:
The HDD AUDIO PLAYER accesses the Gracenote server to obtain music information on the selected track, album or tracks in a folder. Select the desired option from the music information, and then select [Use]. The music information will be registered to the selected track, album or tracks in a folder.
displayed next to an option denotes original music information belonging to the music file (that is not obtained from the Gracenote server).
Merge Albums:
The selected album can be merged with one of the albums displayed as possible albums. (Albums belonging to the same folder are displayed as possible albums.)
Divide Album:
You can divide an album to create new albums.
Play same SensMe™ channels:
You can select your desired channel for playback from the SensMe™ channels to which the selected track is registered. If the selected track is not registered in any of the SensMe™ channels, then you can continue to edit the SensMe™ channels.
Edit SensMe™ channels:
You can edit the SensMe™ channels of the selected track, restore them to the default or deregister the tracks. You can restore all SensMe™ channels of the tracks of the album or the files in the folders to the default or deregister the tracks or files.
Delete playlist:
Deletes the selected playlist.
Edit playlist:
Edit the selected playlist.
Rename playlist:
Rename the selected playlist.
Delete from play queue:
Deletes the selected track from the Play Queue.
