Connecting an external hard disk drive or a USB flash drive

You can expand the internal hard disk drive of the 4K Media Player by connecting a storage device, and can then play video content stored on the storage device.

Connect an external hard disk drive to the EXTRA HDD (USB) port on the rear of the 4K Media Player or connect a USB flash drive to the (USB) port on the front as illustrated below.

The intended purposes of the EXTRA HDD (USB) port and the (USB) port are different.

Connecting an external hard disk drive to the EXTRA HDD (USB) port

You can expand the internal hard disk drive by connecting an external hard drive to the EXTRA HDD (USB) port. Copyrighted content downloaded from Video Unlimited 4K can therefore be moved to the external hard disk drive.

Format the external hard disk drive after it is connected to the EXTRA HDD (USB) port.
