Adding track marks
You can add a track mark at a point where you would later like to divide the file or locate during playback. You can add a maximum of 98 track marks to each file.
- During recording, play back or recording pause, press the T-MARK button at the position you want to add a track mark.
The (track mark) indicator flashes three times, and a track mark is added.
Note
- You cannot add track marks to DSD (.dsf) files.
- You cannot add track marks to a protected file. To add track marks to the file, release the protection first and then add the track marks.
- You cannot add track marks to music files.
- You cannot add track marks during digital synchronized recording.

To locate a track mark and start playback at the track mark, press or during play back or stop mode.
When the (Track mark) indicator flashes once, press the button.
- Even if the menu is displayed during recording, play back or pause, you can add track marks by pressing T-MARK.
