Reducing noise when recording (LCF(Low Cut))
The LCF (Low Cut Filter) function attenuates low frequency sounds to reduce machine sounds or roaring noise from wind, etc., enabling clearer recordings.
- Press and hold the HOME/BACK button for more than 1 second, select “
Settings” - “Recording Settings” - “LCF(Low Cut),” and then press the button.
- Press or to select a setting, and then press the button.
- Press and hold the HOME/BACK button to return to the HOME menu.
Descriptions of menu items
Select one of the following menu items.
OFF:
The LCF function is disabled. (default setting)
75Hz:
Sound for frequencies below 75 Hz is attenuated.
150Hz:
Sound for frequencies below 150 Hz is attenuated.
Note
- The LCF function does not operate when recording digital signals from the LINE IN(OPT) jack.
Hint
- You can also display the “LCF(Low Cut)” menu by pressing a function key if you have configured the “Function Key Setting.”
