Pairing with a Wi-Fi enabled camera
To copy images from a Wi-Fi enabled camera to PCS, the camera and PCS must first be paired using a USB cable.
Setting procedure
- Turn the power of the camera on.
- Connect the camera and PCS using a USB cable.
A message indicating that the camera is connected via USB appears on the camera screen.
- Tap

– [Settings] – [Pairing] – [Pairing Device with PCS] in the List screen of PCS Manager. - When the [Start Pairing] confirmation screen appears, tap [OK].
- When pairing is complete, "Pairing has been completed" appears on the screen. Tap [OK].
In the event that pairing fails, an error message will be displayed.
- Disconnect the USB cable.
Hint
- You can use PCS as the backup destination of multiple cameras (maximum of 16 cameras).
- If the camera’s USB connection setting is set to MTP, pairing cannot be performed.
Set it to Auto or Mass Storage mode.

- On some cameras, if no memory card is inserted, pairing cannot be performed. Insert a memory card before pairing.

- Settings configured by pairing are not reset by pressing the RESET switch.
