Editing the file/folder name

  1. Android: On the data list screen, selecting a file/folder you want to edit the name of, then tap (*) - [Detailed info].
    iOS: On the data list screen, selecting a file/folder you want to edit the name of, then tap (File info).

    * The [] icon is not displayed on the screen of some Android devices. If the [] icon is not displayed on your screen, press the main menu button located outside of the screen.

    The detailed information screen of the file/folder is displayed.

    [Detailed info] cannot be selected if 2 or more files/folders are selected.

  2. Android: Tap to the side of the file/folder name.
    iOS: Tap the file/folder name.

    After the file/folder name appears, tap it to display the software keyboard.

  3. Enter a new file/folder name, then tap [OK].

    The file/folder name is changed, and the screen returns to the detailed information screen.

Note

  • In some cases, you may not be able to change the name of a file or folder if it is stored on the memory card or USB device connected to your Android device.
