Disconnecting USB connection (safe removal of hardware) (Windows)
- Confirm that access to the unit is finished.
- Click the
(removal of hardware) icon on the task tray at the bottom right corner of the screen.
The devices currently connected to the computer is displayed.
- Click this unit.
- Confirm the message "Safe to Remove Hardware" appears and click [OK].
If Windows 8 or Windows 7 is used, you do not need to click [OK].
- Remove the USB cable from this unit.
Note
- The icon and message displayed may vary, depending on the version of the operating system used.
- This unit turns off when the USB cable is disconnected from the computer.
