Setting folder access restriction

This setting allows you to make only specific folders open to guests.

  1. Android: Tap (*) - [Settings] – [Access control] on the Home screen.
    iOS: Tap – [Access control] on the Home screen.

    * The [] icon is not displayed on the screen of some Android devices. If the [] icon is not displayed on your screen, press the main menu button located outside of the screen.

  2. If [Access control] is set to OFF, set it to ON.
  3. Select the folder that can be accessed in guest mode.

    When [Accessible folder] is selected, the [Accessible folder] screen is displayed. Select the storage device and folder, then tap [OK] on it to complete the setting.

  4. Guest devices connected to this unit by selecting the SSID "Guest-WG-C20-xxxxxx" can access only folders specified here.

Hint

  • If [WPA2] is selected for the security type, the password entry screen is displayed. Enter a password of 8 – 16 alphanumeric characters and tap [OK].

Note

  • This function is not available in guest mode.
