Checking the certificate for C2PA

You can check the expiration date and issue destination information of the certificate for C2PA imported to the camera.

  1. MENU → [Setup] → [Setup Option] → [Digital Signature] → [Certificate Info. for C2PA].

Menu item details

Expiration:
The expiration date of the certificate for C2PA is displayed according to the setting for MENU → [Setup] → [Area/Date] → [Area/Date/Time Setting] → [Area Setting].
Issued To:
Displays the issue destination (subject) information of the certificate for C2PA.

Note

  • The certificate for C2PA is not deleted when [Camera Settings Reset] or [Initialize] under MENU → [Setup] → [Reset/Save Settings] → [Setting Reset] is performed. To delete the certificate for C2PA, refer to “Disabling the digital signature function.”
  • When you import a new certificate for C2PA after deleting the certificate for C2PA, if there are images shot with the previous certificate for C2PA and you edit those images on the camera, the C2PA information will not be maintained.
