Selecting the memory
You can switch between the built-in memory and a memory card.
- In the stop mode, press and hold the HOME/BACK button for more than 1 second, select “
Settings” - “Common Settings” - “Select Memory,” and then press the 
button.

to select “Built-In Memory” or “Memory Card,” and then press the button. - Press and hold the HOME/BACK button, to return to the HOME menu.
Note
- If no memory card is currently inserted in the linear PCM recorder, the built-in memory is automatically selected.
Hint
- If the memory card has not been formatted, switch the memory using the “Select Memory” menu, and then press and hold the HOME/BACK button for more than 1 second, then select “
Settings” - “Common Settings” - “Format” to format the memory card.
- You can also display the “Select Memory” menu by pressing a function key if you have configured “Function Key Setting.”
