The inserted memory card is write-protected.
Release the write-protect.

When using a Windows computer, the file or the folder containing the file is set to “Read-only” on the computer.
Display the file or the folder using Windows Explorer, open the “Properties” and remove the “Read only” check mark.

When using a Mac computer, the file or the folder containing the file is set to “Locked” on the computer.
Display the file or the folder in Finder, select “Get Info” and remove the “Locked” check mark.
- Insufficient remaining battery power. Connect the AC adaptor to the linear PCM recorder, or replace the batteries with new ones.

The file is protected.
Release the “Protect” setting.
