Backing up contacts
You can use internal storage, a memory card or a SIM card to back up contacts.
To export all contacts to a memory card
- Find and tap
(Contacts icon). - Tap
(Options icon) > Settings > Export > to SD card or internal storage (.vcf file). - Tap (Options icon) > SD card.
- Select a destination folder, then tap SAVE.
To export contacts to a SIM card
Note
When you export contacts to a SIM card, not all information may get exported. This is due to memory limitations on SIM cards.
- Find and tap (Contacts icon).
- Tap (Options icon) > Settings > Export.
- Single SIM users, tap Export to SIM card. Dual SIM users, select a SIM card to export to.
- Tap OK.
- Select contacts to export, then tap Export.
- Select an option, then tap OK.
To export all contacts to internal storage
- Find and tap (Contacts icon).
- Tap (Options icon) > Settings > Export > to SD card or internal storage (.vcf file).
- Tap
(Menu icon) > Show internal storage. - Tap (Options icon), then tap your device’s model number beside
(Internal storage icon). - Select a destination folder or simply tap SAVE.
