Changing the device name of this unit
- Android: Tap
(*1) - [Settings] – [Other settings] – [PWS settings] - [PWS name] on the Home screen.
iOS: Tap
– [Other settings] – [PWS settings] – [PWS name] on the Home screen.
The [PWS name] screen is displayed.
*1 The [
] icon is not displayed on the screen of some Android devices. If the [] icon is not displayed on your screen, press the main menu button located outside of the screen. - Enter a new device name (*2), then tap [OK].
The default setting is "WG-C20-xxxxxx" (SSID of this unit).
*2 The device name must consist of alphanumeric characters or hyphen ("-"). The maximum length is 15 characters.
- The unit restarts.
[Exit and restart the application to use the new network settings.] is displayed. Tap [OK] to restart File Manager.

- The name set in this section is used in Connecting a smartphone/tablet and Viewing images with DLNA certified devices.
Note
- This function is not available in guest mode.
