Listening to music on a PC via a Wi-Fi network

You can use the "SongPal" installed on your smartphone/iPhone as a DLNA controller (operating device). This application allows you to select/play music on a PC.

To listen to music on the PC, it is necessary to set the PC as a DLNA server.

  1. Set up your PC as a DLNA server.

    For details about settings, refer to the topic in "Related Topic" described below.

  2. Start up "SongPal."

    Tap [SongPal] on your smartphone/iPhone.

  3. Tap [Home Network].

  4. Select the DLNA server following the on-screen instructions.

    Following the on-screen instructions of "SongPal," select the PC in which music is stored.

  5. Select a song from the list and start playback.

    Music in your PC will be heard from the speaker.

To enjoy more dynamic sound

Remove the speaker grille on the front of the speaker with the speaker grille detach tool (supplied).*

*Keep the removed grille on a flat surface to prevent distortion.

Hint

  • If playing back High-Resolution Audio files, using LAN cables to connect the speaker, a router and a computer is recommended.
