Connecting to a wireless LAN in guest mode (Windows Vista)
In guest mode, you can access only folders permitted by the owner.
To allow access by guests, the owner must set access permission. See Changing the settings of this unit from your computer via a browser (Access control).
- Turn on this unit.
Wait until the (Wireless LAN indicator) lamp starts blinking green.
- Right-click the icon on the task tray in the lower right of the computer screen.
- Click [Connect to a network].
- Select "Guest-WG-C20-xxxxxx*" from the wireless network select screen, then click [Connect].
* "xxxxxx" of "Guest-WG-C20-xxxxxx" stands for the last 6 digits of the MAC address. For details on the MAC address, see "Parts and controls."
If you are asked for a network key, enter the password the owner has set in Changing the settings of this unit from your computer via a browser (Access control) or Setting folder access restriction.
When [Connect] is displayed on the same line as "Guest-WG-C20-xxxxxx," this device and the computer are connected.
