SongPal

FAQ1: Cannot connect a mobile device to an audio device (for NFC compatible Android devices).

Try the following two solutions.

Check that your audio device is compatible with SongPal.

Make a BLUETOOTH connection between your audio device and SongPal-installed Android device.
  1. Go to the setting menu on your Android device and set the NFC function to on.

    NFC

NFC (Near Field Communication) is a technology enabling short-range wireless communication between various devices, such as smartphones and IC tags. Thanks to the NFC function, data communication - for example, BLUETOOTH pairing - can be achieved easily by simply touching NFC compatible devices together (i.e., at the N-Mark symbol or location designated on each device).

If you have an NFC compatible Android device, touch the audio device with the Android device, so as to turn the audio device on automatically and to establish a BLUETOOTH connection.

    Go to [Settings] - [WIRELESS & NETWORKS] - [More…].

    Add a check to [NFC].

  2. Start SongPal on your Android device, then connect the audio device with the Android device by one touch (NFC), following the on-screen instructions.

    Note

    • One-touch connection (NFC) by using SongPal can only be enabled by an Android device that is NFC-compatible, and has Android OS4.1 or later installed. For other Android devices, install the app "NFC Easy Connect" first, then start and use the app to make a BLUETOOTH connection.

Hint

  • You can configure the network settings of your network compatible audio device by using SongPal. Wi-Fi settings of your Android device are required beforehand. Make a BLUETOOTH connection between the audio device and Android device, then configure the network settings of the audio device in the SongPal Drawer menu. The password of your router/access point is required.
  • If your audio device is already connected to a network, you can make a connection between the audio device and Android device via the Wi-Fi network, rather than via BLUETOOTH. In the SongPal Drawer menu, select [Device Select] - [Other] - your audio device.
  • Available operations may vary depending on the audio device. For example, from the SongPal Drawer menu, if you select [Device Select] - [Other] - an audio device, some audio devices can be turned on automatically.
  • If an audio device fails to connect with the Android device, restart SongPal on the Android device, then try the connection procedure again.
