Auto Standby function
If the speaker satisfies the following conditions for about 15 minutes, it turns off automatically.
At the time of purchase, the Auto Standby function is set to on.

No operation on the speaker.

The hands-free function of the connected mobile phone (smartphone) is set to off and the mobile phone (smartphone) is not playing music (audio), nor is it being operated. For details, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the mobile phone.

The connected BLUETOOTH device, such as a WALKMAN®, is not playing music (audio), nor is it being operated.

When the speaker is connected to an iPhone/iPod touch via a BLUETOOTH connection, the Auto Standby function is disabled.
Turning on/off the Auto Standby function
- Turn on the speaker.
- Press and hold the(play)/(call) button and the - (volume) button at the same time for about 5 seconds.

When the Auto Standby function is turned off, the speaker turns off and the(power) indicator goes out and then flashes 3 times in green.

When the Auto Standby function is turned on, the speaker turns off and the (power) indicator goes out and then flashes twice in green.

While the Stereo Pair function or the hands-free function is in use, you cannot turn on/off the Auto Standby function.
