Selecting the playback mode

You can select the playback mode (such as shuffle play or repeat play) in the menu.
  1. In playback stop or playback of a music file, press the OPTION button to display the OPTION menu, select “Play Mode,” and then press the button.

  2. Press or to select the playback mode you want, and then press the button.
  3. Press the STOP button to exit the menu mode.

Descriptions of menu items

Select one of the following menu items.

1 Play 1 File:

One file is played back.

Play Folder:

Files in one folder are played back continuously.

ALL Play All Files:

All the files are played back continuously.

1 Repeat 1 File:

One file is played back repeatedly.

Repeat Folder:

Files in one folder are played back repeatedly.

ALL Repeat All:

All the files are played back repeatedly.

Shuffle in Folder:

All files in the currently selected Music folder are played back in random order.

ALL Shuffle All Files:

All files in all Music folders are played back in random order.

Note

  • The Shuffle in Folder and ALL Shuffle All Files can only be set when you select the “Music” category in step 2.
  • The playback mode can be set to various categories (“Recorded files” or “Music”).

    Even if you have set the playback mode for one category, you need to set it again when you select a different category.

Hint

  • If you select “Play Mode” from HOME menu, the category selection window appears and you can select the category to set playback mode.
  • If you press the button for more than one second while the linear PCM recorder is playing a file, the file is played back repeatedly. (In this case, you do not have to set the repeat play function from the menu.)
  • You can also display the “Play Mode” menu by pressing a function key if you have configured “Function Key Setting.”
