Transferring Camcorder Clips to an FTP Server
You can transfer camcorder clips to an FTP server under control from the Connection Control Manager. Perform the following procedure on the File Transfer screen.

Click [File Transfer] in the global header to display the File Transfer screen.

Select a camcorder in the Source area of the File Transfer screen.

Click the [Proxy Clips] tab or the [High-res. Clips] tab.A list of clips stored on the selected camcorder is displayed.

Click the checkboxes for the clips to transfer.

Click [Transfer].The selected clips are added to the transfer job list, and the clips are then transferred in sequence.
You can check the transfer state by clicking the [Job List] tab to display the list of transfer jobs.
To preview a clip
Select a clip that you want to preview in the clip list, and click the playback icon. The preview screen appears.
To return to the clip list, click the
(Back) button on the preview screen.
To transfer a clip while previewing the clip
Click the
(Upload) button on the preview screen. To transfer only a portion of a clip, set an IN point and/or OUT point, and then click the
(Upload) button.
Note
- To transfer camcorder clips to an FTP server, configure settings for FTP connections on the Settings screen of the Connection Control Manager beforehand.
- File transfers may stop momentarily if the camcorder is currently streaming. The file transfer will resume when streaming stops.
- If the recording media format is FAT, files cannot be transferred using the [High-res. Clips] tab.
- The preview display may stop temporarily, depending on the network status and camcorder status.
