Using an external microphone
You can output your voice from the speaker by connecting a dynamic microphone with a normal plug (Φ 6.3 mm) (commercially available).
- Turn the MIC and GUITAR level knob to MIN to reduce the microphone volume level.
- Connect an external microphone to the MIC/GUITAR jack.
- Adjust the volume using the MIC and GUITAR level knob.
- Speak or sing into the connected microphone.
With the buttons behind the cap on the rear side of the speaker, you can perform the following operations as well.
Key Control
You can change the key of a song you sing.
Press KEY CONTROL (flat) button/(sharp) button to adjust the key to suit your vocal range.
Mic Echo
You can add the echo effect to your voice when you sing into the microphone.
Press ECHO button repeatedly to adjust the echo effect.
Note
-
When using the Party Connect or Stereo Pair function, sound from the microphone is only output from the speaker to which the microphone is connected.
-
Bringing the microphone close to the speaker may cause acoustic feedback. When this happens, depending on the sound volume of the speaker, the speaker may turn off due to the product protection feature. In that case, disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), wait for a while, and then turn on the speaker again.
-
While a microphone or a guitar is connected to the speaker, the Auto Standby function is turned off.
-
Do not use the MIC/GUITAR jack in places where the speaker is likely to have water splashed on it. The supplied AC power cord (mains lead) as well as the jacks and port (AC IN, USB, AUDIO IN, MIC) behind the cap are not designed for waterproof and dustproof.
