About the App Required to Use the Speaker System
Use a smartphone with the “Sony | Home Entertainment Connect” app installed to operate and configure the settings on the speaker system.
Install the “Sony | Home Entertainment Connect” app on your smartphone.
The app allows you to perform the following operations and settings.
- Initial settings of the speaker system
- Operations such as volume adjustment, input selecting, etc.
- Changing the settings of the speaker system to the desired settings
- Connecting the optional rear speakers and/or subwoofer and performing initial settings
- Updating the software of the speaker system to the latest version
- Checking the support information and latest update information
The supplied remote control can only be used to perform operations and settings that are frequently used when viewing content.
