Listening to TV Sound by Connecting the Speaker System and TV Wirelessly

You need to perform pairing of the speaker system and TV by using the BLUETOOTH function.

Pairing is the process required to mutually register the information on BLUETOOTH devices to be connected wirelessly in advance.

  1. Turn on the TV.
  2. Switch input to [Bluetooth] on the remote control screen of the app.

    If another BLUETOOTH device is already connected to the speaker system, select [Connect to other devices].

    The speaker system enters the pairing mode by switching to the [Bluetooth] input.

  3. On the TV, search for the speaker system by performing the pairing operation.

    The list of the BLUETOOTH devices that are detected by the TV appears on the TV screen.

    For the operation method to pair the BLUETOOTH device on the TV, refer to the operating instructions of the TV.

  4. Select “HT-S2000” from the list of BLUETOOTH devices displayed on the TV screen and register the speaker system and TV mutually.
  5. Confirm on the remote control screen of the app that the speaker system and the TV are connected via the BLUETOOTH function.
  6. Select the program or input of the device by using the TV remote control.

    The sound of the displayed image on the TV screen is output from the speaker system.

  7. Adjust the volume of the speaker system by using the TV remote control.

    When pressing the muting button on the TV remote control, the sound is muted temporarily.

To operate with the bar speaker

  1. Turn on the TV.
  2. Touch (BLUETOOTH) for about 2 seconds.
  3. Make sure that the BLUETOOTH indicator on the bar speaker flashes twice repeatedly in blue and [PAIRING] appears in the front panel display.
  4. On the TV, search for the speaker system by performing the pairing operation.
  5. Select “HT-S2000” from the list of BLUETOOTH devices displayed on the TV screen and register the speaker system and the TV mutually.
  6. Make sure that the BLUETOOTH indicator on the bar speaker lights in blue and [BT] appears in the front panel display after the connected device name appears.
  7. Select the program or input of the device by using the TV remote control.
  8. Adjust the volume of the speaker system by using the TV remote control.


To check the connection status of the BLUETOOTH function

Note

  • If the TV sound is not output from the speaker system, select the [Bluetooth] input on the remote control screen of the app. Check the status of the front panel display and indicators on the bar speaker and take one of the following actions.
    • The BLUETOOTH indicator flashes twice repeatedly in blue and [PAIRING] appears in the front panel display: Perform pairing on the TV.
    • [TV] appears in the front panel display: Perform steps from the start.
  • If pairing fails, try the following operations on the TV.
    • Accept pairing request.
    • If the maximum number of paired devices on the TV has been reached, remove any unneeded devices.
    • If the speaker system is reset, delete the pairing information of the speaker system from the TV and perform pairing again.

Hint

  • If there is no mobile device paired (ex. when using immediately after the purchase of the speaker system), the speaker system goes into pairing mode when the input is simply changed to [Bluetooth].
