Listening to Music by Pairing the Mobile Device that is Connected for the First Time
To use the BLUETOOTH function, you need to perform pairing of the speaker system and mobile device in advance.
Pairing is the process required to mutually register the information on devices to be connected wirelessly in advance.

Turn on the mobile device.

Switch input to [Bluetooth] on the remote control screen of the app.
If another BLUETOOTH device is already connected to the speaker system, select [Connect to other devices].
The speaker system enters the pairing mode by switching to the [Bluetooth] input.

On the mobile device, search for the speaker system by performing the pairing operation.
The list of the BLUETOOTH devices that are detected by the mobile device appears on the screen of the mobile device.
For the operation method to pair the BLUETOOTH device to the mobile device, refer to the operating instructions of the mobile device.

Select “HT-S2000” from the list of devices displayed on the screen of the mobile device and register the speaker system and mobile device mutually.
If a passkey is requested, enter “0000.”

Confirm on the remote control screen of the app that the speaker system and the mobile device are connected via the BLUETOOTH function.

Start audio playback with the music app on the connected mobile device.
Sound is output from the speaker system.

Adjust the volume.
You can adjust the speaker system volume from the remote control screen of the app or music playback app.
You can also play or pause the content by tapping the playback operation icon on the remote control screen of the app.
To operate with the bar speaker
- Turn on the mobile device.
- Touch (BLUETOOTH) for about 2 seconds.
- Make sure that the BLUETOOTH indicator on the bar speaker flashes twice repeatedly in blue and [PAIRING] appears in the front panel display.
- On the mobile device, search for the speaker system by performing the pairing operation.
- Select “HT-S2000” from the list of devices displayed on the screen of the mobile device and register the speaker system and mobile device mutually.
- Make sure that the BLUETOOTH indicator on the bar speaker lights in blue and [BT] appears in the front panel display after the connected device name appears.
- Start audio playback with the music app on the connected mobile device.
- Adjust the volume.

Note
- If pairing fails, try the following operations on the mobile device.
- Accept pairing request.
- If the maximum number of paired devices on the mobile device has been reached, remove any unneeded devices.
- When the speaker system is reset, delete the pairing information of the speaker system from the mobile device and perform pairing again.
Hint
- If there is no mobile device paired (ex. when using immediately after the purchase of the speaker system), the speaker system goes into pairing mode when the input is simply changed to [Bluetooth].
- Perform pairing for a second or subsequent mobile devices.
