To prevent burning or malfunction caused by exposure to water
The microphone and receiver are not designed to be waterproof. Depending on how they are used, water may get inside, potentially causing fire, electric shock, or malfunction.
Note that malfunctions caused by water damage due to improper handling are not covered by the warranty.
Avoid the following situations and take care to keep the microphone and receiver free from moisture and dirt.

Place the microphone or receiver in an area exposed to rain.

Handle the microphone or receiver with wet hands without thoroughly drying them.

Accidentally spill a drink on the microphone or receiver while eating or drinking.

Wash the microphone or receiver with water.
If the microphone or receiver gets wet or dirty, see “In case of water exposure” and clean them as described before use.
