About the mode switch

Before you start recording with the camera, select a receiver mode with the mode switch.

  • MIC mode

    Only the sound picked up by the microphone is recorded.

    Both the surrounding sound of the microphone and the voice of the subject wearing the microphone are clearly recorded when the camera is located apart from the microphone.

  • MIX mode

    Both the sound picked up by the microphone and the surrounding sound of the camera picked up by the receiver's internal microphone are recorded while mixed.

  • RCVR mode

    Only the surrounding sound of the camera picked up by the receiver's internal microphone is recorded.

Note

  • While the receiver is in RCVR mode, the auto power-off function is disabled.

  • When you are finished with using the receiver, be sure to turn it off.
